After having my first baby I experienced the humbling event of the hospital setting and the lovely standard issue hospital johnnie.  A wonderful life changing event which included going to a variety of classes with your newborn, having visitors, all the while realizing my johnnie could expose my new body at any time.  On top of the humiliating moments they were not user friendly to breast feed, uncomfortable and extremely unattractive.  

After returning home with a trunk load of flowers, balloons and stuffed animals, I realized how thoughtful it was for so many people to congratulate me with a variety of gifts.  During many of my stay at home marathon days into the late evenings of wearing old pajamas, uncomfortable bras while trying to breast feed it dawned on me. Wouldn’t it be nice to receive a nice pair of post-maternity pajamas after giving birth?  A much more practical gift that would be used many times over.

I researched various manufacturers and settled on a few small companies in the United States who were willing to manufacture post-maternity and transition wear.  These pajamas and lounge wear have all the essentials a new mom will need including built in bras and have the added bonus of being attractive.   These pajamas will bring a sense of chic to the new mom.
